Non-violence and voting for congress is not helping. They never did. They never will.
Everyone other than the minorities are feeling safe and not bothered at all. They might not react the same way when they realize their family is also not safe.
Lives of minorities are being lost. Doing things legally is not going to bring the dead ones back. Neither is voting for congress.
Doing the right thing is critical for minorities to safeguard themselves from hindutva terrorism. That can never have non-violence as an ingredient.
Usually, when the sense of self-respect supersedes other emotions, there will be backlash or retaliation. More than a decade of hindutva terrorism targeting minorities and absolutely no backlash or retaliation means the minorities have lost the concept of self-respect.
Minorities without self-respect are bound to perish. Minorities without self-respect will continue to believe in the very laws and elections which have been ignoring their safety and security.
Hindutva terrorism is taking the lives of minorities (Dalits/Muslims). This has always been there and has grown steadily since 2014. However, hindutva terrorism is a mere consequence.
The causation is SEVERE LACK OF SELF-RESPECT amongst the minorities of this nation.
How many Dalits/Muslims have been killed by the hindutva terrorists?
How has this trend evolved since 2014?
If there is someone who can answer (or at least find an answer to) these questions and still, in full state of consciousness, continue to approve of non-violence and voting for congress, it only means they have been raised to live without the consideration for the concept of self-respect.
It is almost as if the Dalits and Muslims of today are carrying the genetic memory to naturally suppress the neurotransmitters that are responsible for the sense of fear (of leaving their kids in a society where they can be killed for a mere societal brand they are made to carry). Decades of hindutva propaganda reinforced with mind-numbing kalam-ki-kranthi activism has rendered the minorities senseless. So many victims and not one retaliation from any victim's side.
The deafening silence of the Dalits and Muslims is very close to proving the unscientific genetic superiority theories of the brahmans and savarnas. Such is the state of ignorance displayed by the minorities across India.
Never mind the majority. They have their legislators, saints, temples and foot soldiers a.k.a gowrakshaks with swords and guns. They are taking the lives of the minorities for mere beliefs.
On the other side, despite dead bodies piling up and living men, women and children being ostracized, raped and tortured, no trace of retaliation or backlash from Dalits and Muslims who've lost their loved ones.
When someone is killing for their beliefs and sentiments, how come there is absolutely no history of anybody from the family/friends/relatives of those getting killed doing something in equal respect??!!
Why would anyone step up to help the minorities if the minorities themselves do not take the courage to stand up for their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness?
How will the non-minorities even consider any step if they never get the opportunity to realize that their children might not come home in one piece because of their affiliation with those who are committing these hate crimes against the minorities?
Dalits & Muslims are as much culpable as the hindutva terrorists in the murder of minorities in this nation. The latter is culpable by commission and the former is culpable by omission (or retaliation).
The minorities of this nation need to realize they are responsible for the horrible lives of their future generations.
A day will come when the future generations of Dalits and Muslims will spit on the numb, meek, self-abnegated and submissive lives of their previous generations that lived as adults during the hindutva rule post 2014. They will consciously decide they will not live like their forefathers who persisted to believe in non-violence and voting for congress despite witnessing the death of their own, within the family as well as across the nation. They will blame their forefathers for their miserable lives and out of that anger will arise the real sustainable solution - retaliatory violence against hindutva terrorism.
Until then, the minorities can either die at the hands of the hindutva terrorists or watch their own die. As such, that is exactly what is happening in this nation since 2014.
The death of Dalits and Muslims at the hands of hindutva terrorists is nobody's problem; Not even that of the Dalits and Muslims.
