Justification of Caste based Reservations in India

Hello World,
The demand for the removal of caste based reservation system is on the rise with many Indian citizens strongly believing why the caste based reservation system must be abolished.
Here is a justification of the caste based reservation system.
For many years, the Indian society had denied equality to select groups of Indians in the name of religion and its sacred scriptures. These groups of people were denied equal opportunity in education and economic opportunities owing to which they suffered in poverty and social isolation. Their presence/touch was considered unholy by the rest of the majority.
When monarchy went away and India became an independent democratic state, minority groups demanded separate nation so they can safeguard themselves from such social discrimination in the name of religion and sacred scripture. While many groups demanded separate state Pakistan (East+West) was the only one that was officially separated on the basis of faith.
One such minority group namely the Dalits (also called Harigan/Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes) asked for the same but were offered equal inclusion in the Union of India. Dr. Ambedkar who lead the Dalit upliftment efforts agreed to settle down for Dalits’ inclusion in India provided constitutional provisions were made to ensure the socially discriminated classes of Indians had, by law, opportunity across education and employment along with the formal declaration of such social discriminatory practices being unconstitutional and therefore illegal as per law.
While many opposed this demand from Ambedkar, they had to agree so everyone could get under one banner and the partition scenario could be relatively less complicated. Since Dr. Ambedkar himself was a Dalit and the popular religious opinion considered Dalits as outcast, the rest of the members of the committee responsible for writing the Indian constitution refused to collaborate with him on the same level as they considered it an insult. This is one of the reasons why the Indian constitution, for the most part, was compiled from other constitutions instead of being written from scratch.
As for the constitutional provision of caste based reservations, here are the clarifications that need to be cleared before the justifications are discussed:
  1. Caste based reservations are based on population-% and for inclusion of everybody so social discrimination based backwardness imposed on minorities go away. The constitutional provision comes along with 10 year timeline by when a socio-economic survey needs to be done to ascertain the extension or abolition of the reservation system. The moment data supporting socio-economic equality of castes are detected, verified and declared, the reservation system will come to an end. This is why every government collects the data and sits on it as divulging it will establish a solid case for extension of timeline for reservation. Caste-based reservations does not intend or aim at supporting mediocrity or inferior performance.
  2. Since the constitution demands 18% to be allocated to SC/ST’s when the required number is not available, the cut-off is relaxed to bring in the count. There are situations where the cut-off is raised to reduce the numbers, in cases when the applicants range in the thousands for positions in hundreds. Cut-off is not a baseline that is taken from thin air. It is usually a value calculated based on comparison of available positions and existing number of applicants in that category. If a certain post has 10 positions and the applicants are 2300 in number, the cut-off has to be very high to make sure the selection process ends up with say the Top-100. Interviewing 2300 is an administrative burden the government has to avoid and so they filter out candidates using cut-off marks. Check image below (SC/ST cut-offs have been rising from 2017 to 2018):
3. Indian constitution allows institutions to have a certain amount of administrative control over their operations and often times anti-reservationist mentality creeps in and what we have is a constant state of reservation cut-off’s being lower than that of general category. This is done only to convince the public can be convinced that reservation is bad and unfair so a public outcry can be caused for abolition of reservation.
4. Even inside a reservation category, candidates have to compete based on their marks. This fact is either not disclosed or deliberately ignored by those who demand the abolition of reservation.
Now for the justification:
  1. When the Indian society segregated a select group of equal Indians in the name of caste and the mandates of religious scripture [Manusmrithi etc.], the rest of the society watched and considered it normal and justified. Only when the post-independence constitution classified discrimination as illegal and compensated the discriminated classes, everyone wants an equal share of the compensatory benefits. Descendants of those who did not get discriminated had access to all the society had to offer but those of the discriminated classes had to suffer in spite of constitutional provisions made. As recent as 2018 saw Dalits denied entry into temples and as of 2011 Dalits were denied access to public well. There is much more to this that what we might get from media. Summing up, years of discrimination and segregation based on caste and religious practices has resulted in a social structure where Indians are not willing to consider fellow Indians as equal humans. This is translating in everyone choosing ‘THEIR OWN KIND’ every time they have access to some form of administrative power. The only solution to work around this is to have a constitutional provision of caste-based reservation such that no matter who controls what, all sections are represented proportionately as per the constitution.
  2. Reservation based on caste is not the cause of social discrimination. It is social discrimination that is the cause of the caste based reservation in the constitution. The challenge is that if social discrimination has to be completely eliminated, that will practically nullify the faith system based on which the caste system originated. Please read the following of you have the patience: WHY HINDUTVA IS ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT FOR INDIA'S DEVELOPMENT
  3. Reservation for poor seems to be more popular these days. The claim is that reservation and benefits should be given to the poor and not to someone exclusively based on their caste/last-name. Here’s the paradox: When the minorities were denied equal economic and educational opportunities based on caste for centuries, nobody saw inequality and just when the constitution attempts to compensate for the same, everyone wants equal distribution of benefits based on economic status. read this if you have the patience: 10% RESERVATION FOR GENERAL CATEGORY FORWARD CASTES: BENEFITS BASED ON ECONOMIC STATUS
  4. Removing caste completely is logically a solution to set the basis for removing caste based reservation. However, removing caste means removing the credibility of the majority religion that is responsible for the caste system. If there is no caste, why would anyone believe in the existence of the god that tolerated the caste system in their respective shastras??!!? Do you know of a hindu who has no caste??!! Popularity of the major faith system will drop to the floor if the caste system is declared null and void. Google ‘dalit denied entry’ ‘dalit killed’ ‘dalit not allowed’ 'Dalit beaten' and you will see news bits covering inhuman practices. If those practices can be justified using phrases like ‘Yeah that happens’ ‘Dude that is law and order issue’ ‘This happens everywhere’ 'This has always been there' 'These are small insignificant instances' etc., then such justification automatically justifies the need for caste based reservation as defined by the Indian constitution. The fact that citizens are gently refusing to agree and perceive discrimination as discrimination indicates the presence of differences among the citizens who are inf act equal human beings. Under such circumstances, allowing the 'equal inclusion of all' as a 'Honour System' where those in power will have to execute their fair judgement for inclusive administration is neither rational nor fair. If those in power decide to be preferential and continue with discrimination, then the equality promised by the constitution is violated and the reservation policies as mandated by the constitution is present to avoid such circumstances as much as possible. [law, its interpretation and implementation are very different games]
“All humans are equal.” If this statement is hard to accept in public conversations (within and outside one's family) and/or at an individual level, then that apprehension is the real justification of caste based reservation as defined by the Indian constitution.

10% RESERVATION FOR GENERAL CATEGORY FORWARD CASTES: BENEFITS BASED ON ECONOMIC STATUS

Hello World,

To put this in context, here's a short story:

--------------------------
KKK, being a dominant race supremacy proponent enforced social inequality for centuries and the slaves were subject to every form of violence: physical, social and economical starting from the old ages to modern times. The democratic setups of modern times grew conscious of systematic social inequality being installed and created constitutional amendments so every member of the society can get a fair chance. In came the affirmative action and policies for inclusiveness. Fast forward to today, descendants of KKK who are poor and suffering due to lack of benefits as those for the descendants of slaves, get a new policy change: benefits for poor descendants of supremacy proponents.

For centuries select segments of the population were denied equal educational and economic opportunities in the name of ethnicity and their social relevance was nullified with respect to religious scriptures. Those who denied those minorities their equal rights did that with confidence and the rest of the society watched. Fast forward to now, when the descendants of the discriminated got the support of affirmative action, the society expects benefits to be given purely based on economic status so everyone can benefit.

So the logic is simple: When discrimination happens, nobody cares since it is the minority that gets hurt but when the constitution supports the compensation of the minorities, everyone cares about everyone getting equal share of compensation purely based on economic status. The exclusion of minorities did not mean inequality for centuries but now the inclusion of the majority is needed to call it inclusive and fair. Those who got beaten are still getting their wounds healed while those who gave the beating are waiting for their health supplement.

What goes around comes around.

All humans are equal.

TAMILNADU vs. MODI: VIDEOS FOR AWARENESS OF TAMIL PEOPLE

Hello World,

Coming May, there's going to be a general election where identity politics will start season-2, where ruling and opposition parties will fight each other very fiercely. Irrespective of the outcome of the election, Tamilnadu, like other South Indian states have been systematically ignored and pushed around by the current administration and as election comes closer the Modi Bhakths are raising their social media activities, much to the annoyance and surprise of the Tamil audience.

Citizens in Tamilnadu need many antidotes and counter arguments to preserve their sanity as Modi Bhakths embark on their journey to destroy the concept of logic, fairness, truth and rational thought within the society in Tamilnadu. These antidotes and counter arguments need to be shared on social media to help raise awareness and counter the fake news propaganda the Modi Gang is unleashing on us!!!

Here are some videos that Tamils [Tamizhargal or all those who speak/understand or even consider Tamilnadu their friendly state] can share as a response to the social media noise created by Modi Bhakths:

If Modi Gang shamelessly over-promotes administrative failures as successes or claims national development, share this video in response:

If you notice overtly history-oriented social media posts indicating how one particular king ruled Tamilnadu better than others across India and the rest of the world, share this video in response:

If the social media posts from political pages claim majority religion or shastras being better than everything modern, share this video in response:

If the IT-cell slaves of political groups share posts indicating the greatness of national security and how this government [2014-2019] is performing better in defence, share this video in response:

If the political marketing pages try to brainwash you with posts covering how the current government [2014-2019] is innocent and how supreme court has given it a clean chit, share this video in response:

If you see social media erupting against caste discrimination but silently ignoring hate crimes and enforcing the majority ideologies on minorities, share this video in response:

If you notice social media propaganda promoting rising employment opportunities for youth, especially in the tech sector, share this video in response:

If you notice idiots sharing views on how the current administration works for everyone and how they have achieved in many ways, share this video in response:

Please watch the videos, try to question the logic and share these if and only if you agree and believe these videos and if you feel these can help serve as an antidote to the poisonous social media fake news marketing that is about to flood our newsfeeds.

BRACE FOR IMPACT MY FELLOW TAMIZHARGAL!!!!

WHY MODI WILL WIN AGAIN IN 2019: ANALYSIS IGNORED BY THE SICKULAR MEDIA

Hello World,

Modi will absolutely win the general elections again in 2019!!!
State election results can be anything. The majority people and its favourite party are in power covering over 70% of India already!!! This itself proves how strong and influencing Modiji's charisma is. Such a phenomenal leader is what it takes to win elections in today's time!!!
Let's look at the strategy Modi and Team will possibly execute in 2019:
Their strategy is a reconfigurable template. It uses caste and religion as two main variables and sub-variables include monetary and cultural shock-practices.
During the 2014–2019 term, this refers to beef-ban, gaurakshaks going on murder-spree, killing minorities and demonetization and funneling more tax money from south India into North India in addition to foreign loans being funneled into Ganga and poorest-states-growth-plan [read GrameenFoundation].
In the run-up to 2019, Modi and Team can pick a different meat ban, say Chicken Ban and unleash an army of religious Murg-Rakshaks and promise to end corruption through de-activating all debit and credit cards.
To support the growth of the nation, those states with Modi’s party in power will get 75% more tax money from the South and a new ministry can be promised for Indian-Ocean Rejuvenation for which loans can be taken from UNESCO, IMF and friendly foreign nations in the name of purifying the very saagar-maata that gave birth to the great nation and how hard its soldiers are fighting in Siachen to prevent China from infiltrating Pakistani networks to sabotage the maintenance of the Statue of Unity. The World Economic Forum can serve as the Brain-Filled-With-Nonsense-Marketing-Arm so the educated intellectuals who cannot differentiate right-wing-extremism from mob-lynchings can enrich their enlightenment.
The plan can be much more than what is discussed here and the whole Modi & Team’s Gameplan for 2019 will be so huge, data-driven, socially marketed and supported by political consultancies that the Internet will have to expand its server capacity to 300 times of what it has now. 1 % of it will store the Inhuman-Intolerant-Divisive-Gameplan glorification by the loyal desh-premi bhakths and 99% will be used for storing the data from the likes and shares the Artificial Intelligence programs from Digital Universe will deliver to make the post go viral, so the country is presented in great light in front of the international community such that the nations identity is protected along with its sovereignty and chickens and sickular anti-national forces can be eliminated through shastra-based governance as written by the greatest of the sages of this ancient civilization of the universe.

One man is trying his best to reshape this slow-growing country into a shithole filled with hatred and intolerant assholes who believe they can commit murder and escape if they do it as a large group.

For the love of shastras and the crap they have been feeding us, please let this man do his job!!!

If you can't help, just stay away. At least do not disturb Modiji while he is doing his best to end India once and for all.

After all, Modiji is working for EVERYONE'S GROWTH AND EVERYONE'S BENEFIT. Everyone, as written in our great shitty shastras means Majority. We really need to recontextualise our history to bring the facts out and show the world how much crap we can deliver!!!

We really need to revise our constitution's preamble to say "We the Majority of India..."!!!!!

Ab ki bar APNE LOGON KO ULLU BANAO.

Agli baar POORI DUNIYA KO ULLU BANAO.

Bolo Jai Right Wing Extremism Ki!!

Conditional-Nationalism-Filled-Historically-Recontextualized-ZINDABAD!!!

To those who understand Tamil, here is a wise man discussing how Modiji's Shastra Based Governance is creating wonders for this great nation:

LATEST CRICKET TRIVIA: THE ONE THING NOBODY NOTICED ABOUT CRICKET IN 2018

Have you ever wondered why cricket is losing its glamour and cricket fans are scared to talk about cricket in front of everyone? These days cricket fans have to get a good pulse of who the audience is before starting a conversation on cricket.

The match and spot fixing scandals have been a persistent parasite on this gentleman's game for decades that now a lot of the general audience do not consider cricket matches as part of their life.

There used to be a time when people would take leave, have their kids bunk school, buy snacks and sit down with their family to watch their favorite national team play their favorite game.

It was in the year 2000 when the gentleman's game took the wrong turn and enabled the global audience understand the inbuilt corruption and scandals of the sport. I was surprised with the Hansie Cronje episode and the subsequent King's Commission.

But what caught me off-guard was how it went from there and ended up killing Hansie Cronje Try reading about the flight accident that involved Hansie's charter flight getting cancelled and him having to board a cargo plane to go to the crucial hearing of the King' Commission. That flight was not successful and the crash killed all onboard including Hansie.

Soon after, cricket shows and news started showing Hansie discreetly tampering the ball during drinks breaks, 'trying to reinforce' the opinion that Hansie was indeed a 'Bad Guy.' If camera caught Hansie ball tampering, then he should have been punished soon after. Instead, the industry waited until he pleaded guilty of match fixing and soon after his mysterious death, started broadcasting footages of Hansie tampering balls during drinks breaks.

Try asking around how one can learn and become a 'Live Editor' of a cricket broadcasting business and you will know how there is a whole art of controlling what people watch from a continuous stream from 27-30 cameras in a stadium. Such editing involves the concept of 'working with a live script.' I will let you get the details and understand that side of the story in your own terms.

For the rest of your suspicion, please enjoy the screenshots of news below.

DIGITAL GOVERNANCE: DIGITAL INDIA AND HOW IT KILLED CORRUPTION

Have you ever wondered how corruption has taken over the digital india landscape? So many processes have been computerised with online application and submission processes.

Here's the catch. Not all of them are avoiding corruption. Instead they are now making sure nobody gets around that government office without paying a bribe.

A good example would we what one would go through while getting plan approval for building houses.

The system has been redesigned such that the application must be submitted online but only a select group of registered/certified engineers can do it. This means the bribe receivers have been moved out of the government office into private offices, making it more convenient to negotiate higher bribes.

The applicants, in spite of having all the documents required, have to depend on this certified/registered engineer to submit the application and get a 'Number' generated using which the process proceeds further. If you do not make the offer of a bribe, this engineer would sit on the application for days and weeks and say the department officials are not available or the 'server is down.' Until the applicant makes the offer of the bribe and convicts the engineer, the server will remain 'down.'

In other similar processes, involving private companies applying for government contracts, the companies can submit the application online and get status updates from the government website. However, the application needs to be signed by an engineer in the department that does the evaluation and approval.

So, the digitisation of government offices have very little to do with eradicating corruption. In fact, the digital processes have reinforced the bribe-extorting power of the government officials.

Feel free to ask around to verify this story and you will hear much more than what is documented here.
